Throughout high school and college, I have been strong with mental math. Some of my favorite problems to calculate in my head are square roots. I used an algorithm that I had developed mentally, but only knew how to manually transcribe the first iteration of. When I came to college, I realized that I had the mathematical tools to be able to write a theorem so that any numbers can be applied and calculated accurately to the algorithm. Enjoy!
